Our Taranaki 190 superfine merino long sleeve Zipnecks can be worn either as a baselayer to complement and layer with the rest of our merino baselayer range,as a lightweight Midlayer, or solo. Worn solo, our Superfine merino Zipneck makes a great all-season shirt, with it's high zipneck turning back to form a collar. It also gives lots of layering options - wear over the Taranaki singlet, tshirt or crew. Our 190gsm weight gives maximum thermo-regulation and moisture management for minimum weight. click here.
Cut in the with the same simple and effective styling as the rest of our merino baselayer range, the Taranaki Zipneck makes an ideal top not only for outdoor activities, but for casual wear as well.
Odour-resistant, thermo-regulating, and giving high uv protection as well as efficient moisture-management, Merino wool is the ideal fabric for activities of all kinds.
In addition, 190gsm weight merino wool fabric offers the ideal combination of comfort in both summer and winter, support where it counts, and durability. Lighter weight fabric, such as 150gsm, can be very flimsy, may give little in the way of support and is far less hard-wearing.
