Merino wool is the ideal fabric for sports acitivities of all kinds. It is believed that Merino wool's slow release of moisture contributes to Merino's ability to minimise the build-up of lactic acid in the muscles and thereby contribute to the wearer's performance.

In addition, 190gsm weight merino wool fabric offers the ideal combination of comfort in both summer and winter, support where it counts, and durability. Lighter weight merino fabric, such as 150gsm, can be very flimsy, may give little in the way of support and is far less hard-wearing. It is of course, cheaper to produce (especially in China!). We think quality is more important.
