Unfortunately PayPal does not allow us to automatically set differential Domestic and International Shipping rates at checkout. We must therefore ask that customers ordering for delivery outside the UK to add the appropriate International Shipping cost increment here. The postage automatically added by the PayPal shopping cart is for delivery within the UK only.

Only available for packages up to 2kg in weight. We cannot therefore accept individual orders that exceed this weight.

Please note that orders cannot be tracked beyond the UK. Once the Royal Mail confirms that orders have been passed to the postal service of the country of delivery, we cannot take further responsibility as we have no means of tracking. We recommend therefore that wherever possible, the Airsure service below is used, as orders can be tracked to their ultimate destination. Unfortunately, this service is not available to all countries, including Italy, where orders sent by ISF can take a week to ten days longer than expected.

Airsure® can be up to one day faster than Airmail. Airsure® gives priority handling and benefits from a worldwide online tracking facility so you can check your mail's progress along the way.

DHL
We no longer offer the option of DHL within Europe as DHL now say they will open packages for "customs inspection" even when they are destined for delivery within the EU. We therefore have no guarantee that orders will arrive undamaged and/or complete. Until DHL change this policy we will no longer use them, other than when requested by customers for deliveries to countries outside the EU, where customs inspection is valid.

Delivery Address
It is the buyer's responsibility to provide an address suitable for delivery where the item can be checked and signed for. They must therefore ensure the address and postcode entered during checkout is correct. Further delivery costs will be incurred if the address supplied is incorrect and the delivery cannot be completed. Items returned to us as "undeliverable" by the carrier, will not be re-dispatched until extra postage costs have been paid in full. A signature given at the address supplied by the buyer will be taken as proof of delivery.

If the carrier has delivered to an address other than the one given, then the customer should claim against the carrier. If the carrier provides proof (i.e. a signature) that the order was delivered to the specific address provided by the customer and that someone else within that address signed for it, then the responsibility lies with the customer to raise the loss of the item with the Police as stolen goods.

Please note that any attempt at cancellation of payment or chargeback due to a claim of non-delivery when a proof of delivery signature has been given to the carrier, may be treated as an attempt to defraud.

Delivery Times
Delivery usually takes within 3 to 5 days to Western Europe, 4 to 8 days to Eastern Europe, and a minimum of 5 days to the Rest of the World. Please note we cannot guarantee these delivery times, and orders may take up to three weeks to arrive, although this is rare. Important Note: ISF Orders must be signed for on delivery and therefore cannot be left without a signature. We cannot be responsible for orders that are not delivered because their is no-one to sign for them, or for orders that are not collected from local postal depots. In the event that orders are returned to us for these reasons, customers will be notified and a Paypal invoice will be sent for the additional postage. Orders will only be re-despatched on payment of this invoice.

Airsure® is tracked from the UK to its destination and does not require a signature on delivery.

Undelivered Orders
We cannot accept responsibility for, or replace orders that cannot be tracked to their final destination. For this reason we strongly suggest that the Airsure service is used whenever possible. Customers who cannot, or choose not to use Airsure must therefore do so at their own risk.
VAT
Please note that we do not ship net of VAT. As a small company, we are not registered for VAT and do not pass it on to our customers. When VAT registration becomes mandatory for us, although we will be able to dispatch net of VAT to customers outside the EU, our own costs will have to increase in the region of 15% to cover the extra costs created by the need to administer this government tax. There will therefore be very little difference in the prices to customers outside the EU between now and then.

Customs, duties & taxes
For customers living outside the EU, Please note: It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods (not including shipping charges) on all packages destined outside the European Union, and shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Each country sets its own level at which duty is levied. For the US, this is $200. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the customer. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.

Dispatch
We do our best to dispatch all orders within 48 hours of receiving them. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, so any delivery to such an address will not be processed.

BFPO addresses
To ensure that shipments to BFPO addresses arrive safely and members of the UK Armed Forces receive the appropriate refund of postage and discounts, the delivery address details should include the following:
  • The rank and service number of the recipient
  • The full name of the recipient
  • Country: Always select UK
  • The Company, Regiment, location and country
  • Post code: Enter the BFPO number (e.g. BFPO 123)

Cancellation of Orders
Please note: We reserve the right to cancel any order placed and refund the customer accordingly, if the appropriate extra postage costs are not included with the order when placed.

Shipping Costs
Whilst our shipping costs may seem to high to some customers in Europe, they reflect the actual cost of sending from the UK using a secure registered delivery service. We base the cost on the average weight of an order within the price bands.

Unfortunately the Paypal shopping cart does not allow us to set automatic differential rates for orders outside the UK. We must therefore ask that all orders for delivery outside the UK have the ISF, Airsure or DHL increment added. We apologise for this inconvenience. We are trying to get Paypal Europe to provide the same standard of service to their UK merchants as they do for their US merchants and to ebay sellers. So far we have had no success :-(
