Dispatch

We do our best to dispatch all orders within 2 working days of receiving them wherever possible.

We cannot however guarantee specific delivery times as these are beyond our control. The statutory delivery time allowed by Distance Selling Regulations is 30 days.

Whilst we do not normally send orders out on Saturdays unless specifically requested, during times of disruption to Royal Mail services, we do not attempt to post on strike days, but post on the next strike-clear day

UK

For orders under the value of £30.00 we use standard Royal Mail 1st class post. For orders above this value our standard shipping methods are by Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery for orders with a value under £150 and Royal Mail Special delivery for orders with a value over £150.

Please note that all UK delivery options with the exception of Royal Mail 1st class delivery require a signature on delivery. The Royal Mail does not allow us to give instructions to leave orders in an unattended place. If a different delivery address is required, please email us.

If no-one is available to sign for the delivery, a card will be left so that customers can make arrangements for redelivery or pick the order up at their local depot.

If your order is under £150 in value but you wish to have it sent by Royal Mail Special delivery (Next-day) email us.

Chocolate Fish only send out UK orders using Royal Mail. We do not use private carriers.

Europe

To the following countries we use Royal Mail's Airsure service as standard:

Andorra, Austria, Azores, Balearic Islands, Belgium, Canary Islands, Corsica, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Madeira, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

Airsure is tracked to destination and does not require a signature on delivery. It is available for orders up to 2kg in weight.

To the following countries we use the International Signed For service to the following countries:

Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia

ISF requires a signature on delivery.  It is only tracked within the UK.  We cannot therefore accept responsibility for loss or non-delivery after a package has been passed to another country's postal/carrier service.

RoW

For orders under £30.00 in value we use Royal Mail standard Airmail service. This does not require a signature on delivery.

To the following countries for orders over £30.00 in value we use Royal Mail's Airsure service as standard: Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore.

We regret we are unable to ship to the USA or Canada due to insurance restrictions.

PO Box addresses

We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, so any delivery to such an address will not be processed.

BFPO addresses

To ensure that shipments to BFPO addresses arrive safely and that the correct shipping rate is applied, delivery details should be entered as follows:Title: Enter the rank and service number of the recipientFirst name / Last name: Always select UKAddress: Enter the Company, Regiment, location and countryPost code: Enter the BFPO number (e.g. BFPO 123)
