Demand the REAL thing. This is it.
Incredibly, even the XL size can be rolled up so small it will slip easily into a
backpack leaving plenty of room for your other stuff - even into a side pocket. Try
doing that with a synthetic of equivalent warmth!
We’ve also made sure that our Fleece has properly turned hems at hood and wrist and
hem, not just finished with a narrow elasticated binding - which can easily come
adrift - as is found with more cheaply-made garments.
We’ve tested machine-washing our fleece using our favourite NikWax WoolWash and found
that it comes up soft and pliable every time, with none of the hardness and bobbling
you get with synthetics.
Add to this the fact that being Merino, this fleece is biodegradable, recyclable,
self-renewing , odour-resistant, flame-resistant, and will even cope with light showers,
and you have the perfect outer layer for whatever you’re doing in the great outdoors.
No product of the petro-chemical industrycan give you all this.
Yes - our fleece does come at a price, but considering what it offers in terms of
personal comfort, ease of carrying and it’s eco-friendly credentials , we think it’s
worth it.
