All our merino wool socks are genuinely New Zealand-made. Our own MerinoTrek, MerinoSport and MerinoWalk socks are 80% New Zealand Merino. This high merino content maximises the benefits of merino - odour-resistance, breathability, and moisture-control for all-year round wear, without sacrificing reasonable durability. High synthetic content may give you longer wear - but you'll have smellier socks without the warmth or comfort merino wool gives you. Plus the higher the synthetic content of socks, the more likely they are to encourage nasties like Athlete's Foot and other fungal infections.
